This soundpack does NOT include menu music, vs.Try the tutorial from the start, and if that still doesn't work ask someone for help.
if they have, you did it right! If not, then I have no idea what went wrong. Test run to see if the sounds have changed. What I do is add the world 'old' onto the end of the existing soundpack. These can be found in the data folder of your MUGEN. Make sure you backup your current system soundpacks. Otherwise, download it and install (Or not, I don't really mind)!
